First Shoot of The Year

Girrakool Falls

The middle of January had a lot of rain which got me itching to shoot some waterfalls. I had been waiting a couple of weeks for my first shoot of 2016, and this was a great start to the year!

A couple of days after one of the storms I headed to Girrakool Falls in Brisbane Water National Park, just outside of Gosford. After all the rain the falls were flowing nicely and there was barely anyone else there, the photographers dream.

There are several falls along the walk, which I highly recommend for any keen bushwalkers.

This is my favourite shot of the day, the red foreground rocks really jumped out of the surroundings.
